VIRGINIA BEACH, VA\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 STV and Mott MacDonald today announced they were selected by the U.S. Navy as the firms to perform architectural and engineering services for traffic and transportation planning projects at military installations across the Mid-Atlantic region.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

By being selected for this indefinite-delivery\/indefinite-quantity contract, the joint venture between STV, a leading professional services firm that plans, designs and manages infrastructure projects across North America, and Mott MacDonald, the global engineering, management and development consultancy, is invited to compete for task order projects worth a maximum $40 million over the next five years.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis contract provides our joint venture team with the opportunity to grow our scope of services with the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD),\u201d said Kim Vierheilig, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, president of the national buildings group at STV. \u201cWe look forward to leveraging our federal market sector expertise alongside our transportation planning and traffic engineering experience to help advance the larger DOD mission and provide crucial infrastructure improvements for our client.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

STV has worked with federal government agencies and has provided a range of design and project delivery services for projects such as\u00a0Davis Barracks<\/a>\u00a0at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York; the\u00a0Delaware Army National Guard Vehicle Maintenance Facility<\/a>\u00a0in Dagsboro, Delaware; the\u00a0U.S. Coast Guard\u00a0 Houston-Galveston Sector Building<\/a>\u00a0in Texas; and the U.S. Department of Agriculture\u00a0Beltsville Agricultural Research Center Building 307 Modernization<\/a>\u00a0in Maryland.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mott MacDonald has worked extensively with the federal government providing professional services for new construction, repair, alterations, and maintenance projects including the\u00a0RED HORSE Logistics Complex<\/a>\u00a0at Camp Perry in Ohio, the\u00a0New York Army National Guard Field Maintenance Shop<\/a>\u00a0in Queensbury, NY, and the\u00a0NPS Sandy Hook Resiliency Repairs<\/a>\u00a0project at Fort Hancock, Sandy Hook, NJ.\u00a0<\/p>\n
